  2. You wouldn't believe how much we got mobbed! At one point I was pinned against a wall by probably 30 kids all totally pressed against each other. The idea was for me to sit at a table and make balloon animals. I could not even move my arms away from my body to give balloons to kids. We were so swamped that we had to give up the idea of making animals and simply passed out balloons that were not even blown up. There is a vision that will remain with me forever of a little girl, probably 8, packed in the middle of the crowd, obviously in some pain from the pressure of the other kids pressing against us all. She was literally no more that a foot from me but I was unable to get a balloon to her due to the frenzy. It was seriously surreal. Eventually the crowd subsided a bit and I was able to make mucho perros y asabes.

  3. These pictures, though a glimpse at our time there, are not NEARLY representative of the absolute mob scene of excited children! Several hundred were pressing in on all 14 of us, desperate to receive whatever fun we were offering. After several absolutely intense, and sometimes almost scary!, minutes passed, we were elated to still be standing and doing our very best to please. The students were delighted with our costumes, balloons, stickers, squeakers, tattoos, and most certainly our leader, Jessie's, fabulous magic. It was indeed a memorable experience for all!

  4. Dale - did you win 'best dressed male' for your outfit again?? Cheris - what? you're not in purple????!!! And Marcia --- I think I recognize your costume as well, but your makeup is much different. The group photo brought back great memories of Mongolia, and the discovery of Marcia's hidden Clown!!!! :)
